Biofuels
Biofuels are a clean alternative source of energy to fossil fuel. It is a grow-your-own fuel that can be made in local communities. It should be used because it is healthier for the environment, it is renewable, and is a locally available resources. Biofuels can be used to power small machinery and electricity generators as well as vehicles. A question to be asked is “What crops should we grow to use as a biofuel?” Is it better to grow crops to feed livestock and people? What is the best use of biofuels? Biofuels are being used in Europe, Asia, as well as America. They are being used small machinery, heat, for cooking as well as to power vehicles. It has actually been used to power a plane.
